About Dr. Hancock
Stacey Hancock DO, MPH, RPVI is a board-certified vascular surgeon at American Vascular Specialists in Avondale, Arizona. Dr. Hancock treats a wide scope of both arterial and venous disease. She focuses on ensuring her patients are comprehensively cared for and her passion is patient education, as all patients and their families should have a strong foundation of knowledge about their health.
Dr. Hancock was raised in the Valley and has continued to show devotion to her community professionally over the last twelve years. She earned her medical degree at A.T. Still University-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. She then completed her General Surgery residency as Co-Chief Administrative Resident at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. This included training at Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. During this time she also completed her Master in Public Health at A.T. Still University. Following this, her fellowship training in Vascular Surgery was completed at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.
She earned recognition in 2020 as Resident Clerkship Educator of the Year. She is also an Americorps Alumni contributing over 900 hours of community service to patients in the Valley. Â Outside of patient care, Dr. Hancock enjoys spending time watching her children play competitive sports and volunteering at local nonprofit organizations.
